Weebill Online, Australia's textile emporium, connects makers and sellers. With your help, by keeping textiles in circulation for longer, we can have a meaningful environmental and social impact. Our curated marketplace welcomes regular and casual vendors.
No subscriptions or listing fees.

Listings of textiles, including remnants, patterns, fibre, yarn, notions, as well as handmade and upcycled goods are welcome.
This Marketplace also provides a service to help those managing deceased estates, to move craft resources within a community of makers and creators where it will be valued. If you need extra support to sell large bundles, please reach out.
Resale of second-hand clothing and vintage home decor are permitted, but this is not a marketplace for fast fashion stores, or overseas drop-shipping. Patterns, books, designs for textile printing and courses, are the only digital products permitted.
No dangerous or illegal goods (including fake designer goods), thus any items or products which may not be owned, used or shipped within Australia, may be listed on this marketplace. Such vendors will be immediately suspended.
Make no assumptions, or false claims, about age, designer, etc. If you don't know, it is acceptable to say you don't know. If something looks like a designer item, please have it verified before listing it as a designer item, because in the case of a dispute, we will require proof of authenticity and if the item fails, you will be liable for any adverse outcomes.
On this page, the term "vintage" implies 30 years or older, and "antique" means 100 years or older.
Buyers should be aware that this website is not listing perfect goods. Most are second hand, upcycled, or handmade, so imperfections are to be expected within reason.
When you click on a tab to sign up, or sign back in, the platform host will provide you with a form to add your email address. When you click on the send magic link button, you will be sent a link, with a time-out, to enter the marketplace. The site uses email verification, and script in the background so you don't have to remember a password. If you ever receive a link that you have not requested, do not click on it.

Magic links with a time-out, to enter the marketplace means you don't need to remember your passwords.

Most listing types have a set minimum value and a maximum value to protect both Vendors and Buyers. Reach out if this is a problem for your specific listing.
ACTIVE PERIOD
Listings remain active. If you have sold it elsewhere, you must remove the listing immediately. No exceptions. If goods are sold on the marketplace, after you have sold it elsewhere, both you and the marketplace will incur costs for the processing of the sales transaction and the subsequent refund.
SIGN UP TO GET STARTED
To get started, complete the sign up form and follow the prompts to create your first listing. Select the applicable category, and then scroll down to fill out the listing form. Before you do, please read the rest of the information below, it may save you time later.
DESCRIPTIONS
Due to the nature of pre-cut textiles, left over supplies, second hand, upcycled and handmade goods, this website is not listing perfect goods. Imperfections are to be expected within reason, but it is a Vendor's responsibility to manage expectations and disclose known defects. Listings must have clear, honest descriptions. Great descriptions and courteous, clear communication will help to avoid disputes. It is essential, because disputes can leave you out of pocket.
RETURNS POLICY
Have a returns policy. Make it clear when an item can be swapped or not.
If the defects are disclosed and you are listing it at a low price to compensate for the imperfections, you may list it as final sale, no returns accepted.
PHOTOS
A listing must have:
· Ideally 3 or more real photos ‚
· Neutral background
· Condition stated (New / Handmade / Pre loved)
· Flaws disclosed with clear photos of any faults or flaws.
· Dispatch timeframe stated
· Use a short, but clear description of the item in the title, as it will be picked up in keyword searches.

Examples of what your listing thumbnails will look like.
Thumbnails are cropped to landscape format.
To make the most of your photos, keep content centred with empty spaces at the sides and top of the photo.
Keep photos as real as possible. Take photos on a clear surface with no background clutter.
Use natural light and take photos of the item with other goods which can help to show colour and scale clearly.
Photo editing tools may make your items look more professional, but also more AI enhanced, which can undermine Buyer confidence.
There are default active minimum and maximum listing value price caps on this marketplace to help protect Vendors and Buyers. Some categories are open, but you can set your own cap. If you are listing in a capped category, but need to exceed the ceiling cap, create your listing as a draft and get in touch.
MORE BANG FOR A BUCK TIP: Refer to Australia Post's parcel weights and fees and use it as a guide to group low value single items as bundle buy offers. Aim for a minimum bundle value of at least $15 to reduce the impact of payment processing fees on your low value items' sale.
By maximising value for the minimum shipping weight of a small parcel, you also help a Buyer avoid shipping fees that are much higher than the product's value.
For example, if the weight of both 1 and 2 metres of fabric, listed at $5/m, will incur an $11.70 shipping fee, it may make more sense to list it as a 2 metre minimum buy, because payment processing fees hurt the bottom line of very low value items the most.
Please check Australia Post parcel rates here https://auspost.com.au/shop/sending/flat-rate-packaging to ensure you are not selling yourself short, and providing the buyer with value for money. The photo with listed fees is current as at September 2026.

DEFAULT SHIPPING FEE
The default shipping fee for this marketplace is $10 for each listing. This is just to ensure you are not completely out of pocket when you forget to add a shipping fee to your listing. You can, and should, amend it with a new amount for each listing.
BUYERS ARE CHARGED A SINGLE SHIPPING FEE FOR EACH VENDOR THEY HAVE IN THEIR CART
Buyers will be charged multiple shipping fees if they buy from several vendors simultaneously. Two vendors in the cart means two postage lines, one each for each vendor. Obviously, we do not want that to be a hindrance to a buyer, so our priority is to encourage bundle buys that will help you move your products.
BUNDLE BUYS TO ENCOURAGE MORE OF YOUR GOODS TO GO
To ensure a buyer gets the most value from their shopping experience, the cart is set so that a buyer who takes several items from the same vendor pays that vendor's postage only once, and only on that vendor's item with the highest shipping fee in the cart. So if the buyer has 3 of your items in their cart, one for $20 and two for $10 each, the cart automatically selects the highest postage of your items in the buyer’s cart, $20, and every further item from you, ships for free. This means you will NOT receive $40 in shipping fees, only $20. Read on to learn how to mitigate this.
TOP TIP: SET A MINIMUM QUANTITY
Quantity does not add to shipping fees either, three metres of the same fabric will still be one postage, and that is the original price you set for the listing. This makes it very attractive for a buyer to buy more than one item from a vendor as multiple purchases from one vendor will automatically result in a much reduced shipping fee. However, since Australian shipping fees are calculated either on weight or dimensions, you need to keep this in mind when you set your postage and product prices. For example, seta minimum quantity buy with an appropriate postage fee for that minimum quantity. If three metres of fabric will trigger a $20 postage fee, but 6 metres of fabric will still fall in the same postage bracket, charge a $20 postage fee and set a 3 metre minimum quantity buy. It will help you to destash and will have less impact on the postage fees you have to pay if a buyer does buy 5 metres.
Alternatively you may have to raise prices slightly across the board to absorb any additional shipping fees. The choice is yours.
YOUR OTHER LISTINGS
Buyers will usually also be able to see your other listings once they have added one of your items to their cart. This may encourage buyers to add more of your other products to their cart.
LABELS AND AUSTRALIA POST FEES
We hope our guidelines will help you make informed decisions to maximise postage. You can use the links provided in your dashboard or sales confirmation email, to print the appropriate shipping labels, but you will have to pay shipping as normal to either Australia Post or a courier company. It may be helpful to know that if you add a return address comes to your "Settings" page in your dashboard it will automatically be added to the label too. If that address is missing in your settings, the postage label link page will ask you to fill it in before it prints.
THE GOOD NEWS: NO TEXTILE EMPORIUM FEE ON THE POSTAGE COMPONENT
Unlike most other marketplaces, we are only charging our Weebill Online service fee on the product portion of the transaction, NOT on the shipping component of the transaction. This means the service fee is actually lower across the overall transaction. It is to ensure you can meet your shipping obligation to the buyer. HOWEVER, Stripe will still charge their payment gateway processing fees on the whole transaction value (item plus shipping) as their services covers the processing of the transaction. Stripe fees are calculated separately from marketplace fees, and influenced by the payment type or card type chosen by the Buyer. Stripe fees are directly deducted by Stripe, even though the Stripe amount could be bundled with the marketplace fees during the payment process.

It is essential that you provide tracking details. Once you receive confirmation of a transaction, log into your dashboard and add the tracking number. There is absolutely no exceptions, unless an item will be collected in person, because "lost packages" are some of the most common causes for a dispute. If you offer delivery or pick up, make sure you have evidence. If a Buyer claims they have not received the goods, both you and the Weebill Online marketplace will be out of pocket due to the additional costs related to a refund charged to both parties. Usually, with insured tracking, if the package is lost, you should be able to lodge a claim with the delivery service to recover your loss.
Labels for shipping cannot be purchased through this marketplace at the moment, it is currently only setup for overseas marketplaces.
Caution: You may offer local delivery. If you do decide to meet a Buyer to hand over a purchase, ensure that you do it in a safe space - in front of a police station, or at a shopping centre in clear view of cameras. Do not invite strangers to, or into, your home. You are responsible for your own safety.
NO LISTING OR SUBSCRIPTION FEES.
Most curated marketplaces charge a listing or subscription fee. And we do understand why, because a marketplace is charged a monthly fee for each active vendor account by payment gateway providers. Currently we are not charging these fees, because we know times are tough and every 35 cents add up. On another site, you may list 100 items, and subsequently pay $35, but despite that, will have no guarantee of a sale. You may then also have to pay for additional advertising. It looks attractive, because by the time you sell something, you may have forgotten the incidental payments along the way.
If you are a casual vendor, a subscription fee may not be fair either. We want textiles to keep moving without barriers of upfront costs. Therefore, we do not currently charge a monthly subscription, or listing fees, but we are charging a service fee at the completion of a sale to help cover marketplace overheads. Our model may have to change in the future to keep the marketplace viable.
YOU ONLY PAY FOR SERVICES AFTER SELLING AN ITEM
You will only pay for services after you have sold an item, which makes it fair to everyone. Fees you pay, are made up of Weebill Online service fees and fees charged by Stripe, the payment gateway provider. Unfortunately, payment gateway fees are inevitable as the payment gateway provider is providing an essential service to vendors and buyers to facilitate their financial transactions.
Service fees cover administrative costs, and a combination of commissions and set fees for hosting, payment gateway services, as well as vetting active vendor accounts. Fees may also enable us to engage in advocacy, host community workshops and support benevolent organisations.
FEES
Current Weebill Online Textile Emporium service fees are set at 16.9%, but, and this is an important distinction, it is only charged on the value of the item, NOT on the postage portion too, whereas most marketplaces charge commission on the full transaction value. The payment gateway provider, Stripe, will charge you a fee on the full transaction amount, as their service involves the full amount. What does this look like in practice? Here is an example of a $17 transaction made up of a $7 item plus a $10 shipping fee. The actual vendor payout, after a deduction of 16.9% on $7, and the full Stripe service fee deduction on the total transaction value ($17), amounted to $15.40. You paid $1.60 inclusive of all fees, where as, if this was a regular marketplace where you paid commission on the full transaction value of $17, the deduction would have been $2.87, plus Stripe processing fees. On a low value transaction, this is a significant saving of more than $1.20.
Please note that payouts may vary slightly due to the fees charged by Stripe. Stripe fees may change, but at the time of writing, fees are a combination of a set fee of roughly 30 US cents and a variable commission based on the cards used Buyers. Australian cards are usually 2.2-2.9%, and overseas cards can be up to 3.9%. The $17 example, is a screenshot of a real transaction, where a card of one of Australia's banks were used.
UNDERSTANDING THE LOW DOWN ON LOW VALUE TRANSACTIONS:
On low value sales like this, the marketplace will be out of pocket, as Stripe monthly fees for an active vendor account, payable by the marketplace, not you, is US$2. And this does not even cover all the other fees the Textile Emporium will be charged on your behalf. Therefore, to keep the marketplace viable, we would like to encourage you to bundle low value items in package deals.
KEEP FEES IN MIND WHEN SETTING PRICES
Please keep marketplace, Stripe and postage fees in mind when you set your prices.
The Platform Host and Payment Gateway provider may amend their fees without prior notification, which may require the Marketplace to also amend its service fee or fee structure. Active Vendors will be advised as soon as we become aware of any changes.
Payouts are handled by Stripe, the Payment Gateway provider. (https://support.stripe.com/topics/payouts.) When you sign up as a Weebill Online Vendor, you will be prompted to complete an identity verification process and link a banking account. This process and data are managed by the Payment Gateway provider. Weebill Online do not control, or have access to this data.
WHEN DOES THE BUYER PAY?
When a Buyer checks out, their card is charged right away. So the minute the transaction is concluded, Stripe holds your funds.
STRIPE HOLDS THE VENDOR'S PAYOUT
You don't have to complete the ID verification or link a banking account immediately when you sign up. You can wait until you have made your first sale and then go through the ID verification process and link your banking details. When a transaction is completed, the Vendor's share is held in the Stripe platform account.
If you delay, or neglect to complete your ID verification and link an account, after your sale, Stripe will hold onto your funds until your identity has been verified. This funds are held securely by Stripe, NOT the marketplace, as a fraud protection measure. Please do not forget to complete this step once you have made a sale, or you will receive prompting emails from Weebill Online to fix this.
SIGNING UP WITH ID VERIFICATION
Please make sure you have ID documents on hand that match your name and address exactly when you start the verification process. If it does not match, your ID verification will fail.
HOW LONG BEFORE I SEE MY MONEY?
Stripe will send the payout to the your Vendor bank account, and it typically takes 5 to 10 business days. Plan for 10 days. First time payouts may take up to 14 days, especially if you have not completed the ID verification at sign up.
If you have not completed the ID verification before your first sale, it may take even longer, because no payout process will commence before ID and bank verification.
DISPUTES
Disputes can disrupt the payout process. So please do take care to prevent disputes. Offer replacement products, before offering a refund. Refunds will leave you and the marketplace out of pocket because of the Stripe financial services fees are charged on transaction both ways - for the sale, and the refund.
PROOF IS IN THE PUDDING
You will need to provide proof for shipping or delivery. In the unlikely event of a dispute, this information will be essential. So please maintain records. It should not be too difficult. For example, Australia Post can send a tracking number to your mobile phone when you post the parcel. Send this tracking number via the marketplace to the buyer, where it would be easy to find if things go pear-shaped.
REPLACEMENT GOODS
Offer replacement goods where possible rather than a refund / chargeback, as the latter can leave you out of pocket.
Support your Buyers as much as possible. Be the Vendor you would like to buy from. We are building a community, and tomorrow you may be a Buyer.
Please offer product samples, e.g. if fabric is on a roll, where possible if requested by Buyers.
GET IN TOUCH IF A DISPUTE IS UNRESOLVED
If the Buyer flags a dispute, please get in touch with them immediately. You have 72 hours to respond to a refund, dispute or charge back request. The sooner you contact the Buyer to deal with it, the greater the chances that it can be resolved amicably without triggering a full refund request. If there are any other reasons a dispute is flagged, for example a Buyer trying to cancel a transaction after it has been shipped, it is incredibly important that you get in touch immediately. We do want Buyers to lodge their disputes via the marketplace, not through their bank as a charge-back.
STRIPE'S ROLL IN DISPUTES
All disputes are treated by Stripe as full refund requests. You have a limited window to present evidence whether this is a reasonable request or not.
Disputes can leave Vendors and the Weebill Online marketplace out of pocket. Not only because of the lost sale, but for processing fees related to the initial purchase and the subsequent refund. The initial purchase and the later refund processing fees charged by the Payment Gateway and Platform Host are not refundable, because both sets of fees are for services provided to process the transactions. Any fees from the Gateway Provider and Platform Host incurred by the Weebill Online marketplace on the Vendor's behalf, because of a dispute, will be invoiced to the Vendor.
If the payment has not been released to the Vendor, Stripe will debit the Marketplace account, but Stripe can also debit the Vendor's linked account for the disputed amount, depending on the stage of the transaction. It is important for Vendors to keep a minimum balance in their linked account, to ensure that refunds and the additional refund processing fees can be covered if Stripe deducts a refund before the payout has been completed. A negative account balance will impact future payouts. If no one acts, disputed transactions are automatically cancelled 60 days after the dispute, which will trigger a full refund.
WEEBILL ONLINE'S DECISION IN FINAL
If a dispute between a Buyer and Vendor is not resolved, the matter will be assessed by Weebill Online. Both parties need to provide evidence, and after assessment, the decision by Weebill Online will be final. It may require the item to be posted back to the Vendor at the Buyer's cost with a full or partial refund to the Buyer, or that the Vendor bears the full cost of return shipping and refund or even that the funds will be released to the Vendor.
RETURNED GOODS
What may happen is that a Vendor would be required to provide a prepaid return shipping label for defective or incorrect items.
For change-of-mind returns, buyers may be responsible for return shipping costs and there may be a refund processing fee charged by the payment gateway provider, which may be passed on.
IF IT IS A REGULAR OCCURRENCE
Multiple service delivery disputes related to the same Vendor, or same Buyer, will result in that person being suspended from transacting on this marketplace. If Vendors engage in serious or repeated misconduct, it will result in their immediate suspension and their listings being removed to protect Buyers and the reputation of the marketplace with other Vendors utilising its services.
Please let us communicate clearly to avoid disputes.
TOP TIP
Yes, you will pay shipping for goods from each vendor you add to your cart. After all, they are different people living in different locations. So there will be multiple "shipping lines". However, you will not be charged a shipping fee for every item from a seller. If you add three items from one seller, and each has a different shipping fee, say $20, $10 and $5, you will pay only $20 and the other two items will ship for free. To make the most of the shipping fees you will be charged, we suggest you review all listings from each Vendor in your cart. You may notice something extra to add and your shipping from that vendor will automatically be adjusted to save you money.
PAYMENTS
Payments are either by card or Apple Pay, and will be processed via Stripe. It will be deducted from your account as with any other online purchase depending on the payment method you choose.
After placing an order, a purchase cannot be cancelled without registering a dispute. If you would like to register a dispute, e.g. if the product is substantially not as described, please contact your Vendor first. The Vendor has 72 hours to respond. If after that, if you can't resolve the issue, contact the Weebill Online marketplace.
For change-of-mind returns, Buyers may be responsible for return shipping costs and there may be a refund processing fee charged by the Payment Gateway provider, which may be passed on to you.
You cannot claim a refund for delayed shipping that is beyond the Vendor's control, or for items marked as "final sale" or "non-refundable" at the time of purchase. Neither for gift cards, services already rendered, downloadable documents, personalised and customised items.
Fabric cut to your requirements cannot be returned unless the vendor agrees. Please choose carefully and if in doubt, rather ask for samples before ordering fabrics by the metre.
If you would like to exchange an item for a different size, colour, or product, please contact your vendor directly. Since we don't expect vendors to have lines of running stock, exchanges are subject to availability.
To protect Vendors, Buyers that abuse the Marketplace rules or engage in misconduct, will be suspended from transacting on the Marketplace, just as Vendors that engage in misconduct will be suspended.
